The Greater Huachuca Area Branch NAACP is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive at El Mercado Manny’s Farmers Market on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Your donation can help save lives—especially for Sickle Cell Fighters who often rely on regular transfusions. Every donation makes a tremendous difference:

Sickle cell disease is the most common genetic blood disease in the U.S. and primarily affects Black and African American individuals.
Sickle cell disease is the most common genetic blood disorder in the U.S., and regular blood transfusions are critical to manage extreme pain and life-threatening complications.
Patients with sickle cell disease may rely on regular blood transfusions throughout their lives to help prevent sickle cell complications, such as organ and tissue damage, pain and strokes.
